The Birmingham Area

Enjoy your trip to Birmingham in lodging conveniently located to anything you want to do. Dining is within walking distance, and shopping, attractions and Arthur’s Conference Center are all just a short drive away. The Birmingham Botanic Gardens are just a mile down the road. Our hotel also features amenities to make your stay pleasant and fun, like free Bright Side Breakfast®, parking, high-speed internet access and spa. If the summer sun gets to you, you can also escape to our outdoor swimming pool. We also offer meeting facilities. Enjoy some of Alabama’s lush foliage at our outdoor courtyard and shaded gazebo. As a La Quinta, we are a pet friendly hotel, with animals staying free.

Birmingham is Alabama’s largest city, and uniquely connected to the rest of the South, historically acting as one of the region’s two railroad hubs and now also served by five interstates. I-20, I-22, I-59, I-65 and I-459 connect the city to Alabama’s other three biggest metropolitan areas – Mobile, Montgomery and Huntsville – as well as Tuscaloosa, home of the University of Alabama, and much of the rest of the region. Birmingham, itself, centers around Red Mountain, which holds the city’s most iconic attraction, the Vulcan Statue, the largest cast iron statue in the world and a tribute to the city’s roots in the iron and steel industry. The city is diverse, with dining, history, nightlife and boutique shopping, all with down to earth southern hospitality.
